There are so many places, breweries, and bars in Houston, but I always find myself coming back to Holler! From “Magic Mike,” Paige, Duke, Trevor, Raegan, Anna, and Hannah during the week to Ken on Sundays, the staff always makes every visit feel welcoming and fun. The craft beers are ice-cold, delicious, and come with witty, creative names. There’s truly a beer for every palate! Whether it’s run club, cycling club, bingo night, or karaoke, every experience at Holler is a blast. They’ve also added the Holler Backyard, a fantastic new space and with a large patio perfect for live music, gatherings, and all kinds of festivities. It’s just one more reason to love spending time here! Every time I visit, I see a new face alongside the familiar, friendly ones who always make me feel welcome. It’s more than just a brewery; it’s a community, and that’s what keeps me coming back. Cheers to Holler!

What’s good? A better question is, what’s not good? And honestly, the answer is nothing. Everything about Starduster Lounge is good. The happy hour is one of the best in town, with 10 drinks on the menu priced at just $6 from 4–6 p.m. Every cocktail is craft-made without the craft cocktail price tag. The staff are welcoming, engaging, and genuinely interested in helping you find the right drink. They ask open-ended questions rather than just taking your order, making the experience feel personal. The vibe inside is very West Texas. The furniture and seating are functional, comfortable, and fit the atmosphere perfectly. I’ve been here solo, with groups, and with friends experiencing it for the first time, and it has never disappointed. I honestly can’t say enough about the vibe at Starduster Lounge. Regardless of your social circle, this is the kind of place just about everyone can appreciate. Great drinks, great people, great atmosphere, and prices that make you want to come back. Starduster Lounge gets it right.

Get the High Jive lunch sandwich, the focaccia bread was soft and flavorful, sub the chips for a small Serrano Dill pasta salad and add a small blue cheese bacon potato salad. This paired extremely well with the Evil Twin #31 I missed my daily commute on the L train. The weather for lunch was a breezy 85, literally perfect.
